Enrollment in the Roman Shield pooled trust provides access to all seven pillars of support: financial security, housing, medical and therapy, daily living, crisis response, respite care, and advocacy. Each beneficiary receives a personalized sub-account and care plan.
Our pooled trust structure preserves 100% of SSI and Medicaid eligibility. Assets in the trust are not counted against benefit limits. Distributions are carefully structured as supplemental support.

Complete the joinder agreement and submit required documents:
Initial deposit is made to establish the sub-account.
Legal review of all documents, trustee approval, background verification, and sub-account creation. Your family’s dedicated account is established within the pooled trust.
Welcome packet mailed, portal access created, orientation call scheduled. We begin developing a personalized care plan that addresses your family’s specific needs across all seven pillars.
Your family submits the first distribution request. We walk you through the process, handle approval and processing, and gather feedback to ensure everything is working as it should.
